Between 1892 and 1894 the house was rebuilt by Charles Digby Harrod, founder of the landmark Knightsbridge store Harrods, following his retirement in 1891.
Open during the winter shooting season in conjunction with Loyton
Sporting the house is an eclectic mix of Victorian and Classical styles with some Art Nouveau detail. Recently the interiors have been updated to a more contemporary style whilst preserving many of the original charming Victorian features.
The fully equipped, open plan kitchen seats 10 comfortably and the
dining room provides for larger numbers. It is the perfect setting for fabulous dinner parties. After dinner guests can migrate to the billiard room for coffee and petit fours at the bar.
